Francophonie Week in Kindergarten
To celebrate Francophonie Week, the kindergarten students arrived on Wednesday, March 19th, wearing their T-shirts in the colors of the Francophone flag (red, blue, green, yellow, and purple).
They then prepared a delicious French snack, including: fresh baguettes made by the cafeteria, butter, sausage, cheese (goat, Emmental, Camembert, Laughing Cow), strawberry and apricot jam, croissants, apple juice, and orange juice.
After the snack, the students brought blue objects from the classroom to represent the Earth. They then formed a circle to form the Francophone flag around the blue planet.
During the week, they also made a fan in the colors of France.
