The kindergarten vegetable garden

New year in the vegetable garden for the two kindergarten classes, a rich and multidisciplinary project.

We started with vocabulary sessions (the tools used by the gardener, fruits and vegetables, etc.). Then, we sorted the seeds and sowed flowers for the PS. The MS and GS sowed cucumber, pumpkin, tomato, bean, etc. This will be an opportunity to observe the growth of a plant and then depending on the evolution of our seedlings, we will plant them in the vegetable garden. We are working in parallel on the little creatures in the garden and have made pretty snail paintings in the style of the book: “Margot the snail”. A large “garden fresco” is displayed in the corridor. It allowed the PS to work on continuous lines and the MS and GS to work on the graphics of the circle, coloring and cutting (grass, flowers, little creatures, etc.). Well done everyone!
