CE1 and CE2-CM1 at Khao Mai Kaeo Park
Last Thursday, the CE1 and CE2-CM1 students experienced a wonderful adventure in the heart of nature, in Khao Mai Kaeo Park, during Nature Week.
Throughout a trail through the forest, the children carefully observed the local flora and fauna: ants, termites, butterflies, lizards, birds, termite mounds, mushrooms, majestic trees, and amazing plants. Using their notebooks, they collected simple and compound leaves, seeds, and prints to enrich their collection.
After a well-deserved picnic, a change in the weather cut our program short. The planned orienteering race was canceled, but we continued our activities at school. The students observed the trees in the courtyard, made sketches, made pastel leaf prints, and completed their notebooks.
A wonderful day of exploration and learning.
