The year 11 students at the Lab

This morning, our students in the second year of high school did a practical work whose objective was to check the relationship between the weight and mass of an object and to deduce an approximate value of the intensity of the Earth’s gravity g. This experimental approach has led to a better understanding of Newton’s concept of gravity. This lab made it possible to verify the proportional relationship between the weight and mass of an object, and to determine by experiment an approximate value of the intensity of the Earth’s gravity g. The objective of an experimental approach to the concept of force and motion under the effect of gravity has been achieved.
